Product description
Constructed from double-walled food-grade polyethylene filled with polyurethane, the Sæplast 405 and 705 liter PUR depuration and wet storage containers are the only insulated containers of their kind on the market today. They mark a radical breakthrough in the storage and purification of live mussels, oysters, clams and other shellfish. An even flow of water is maintained resulting in the perfect oxygenation of each individual shellfish.The Sæplast 405 joins the company’s existing and highly successful Sæplast 705 version. The new container offers a capacity of 400 liters, compared to the 705’s 700 liters, meeting current market demands for a smaller size in order to handle multiple shellfish species at the same location. Container details:
The Sæplast 405 depuration and wet storage container features a unique patented water flow design with corners that are exchangeable, enabling them to incorporate different perforations or even no openings, which gives the container the flexibility to be used for other products as well. In addition, the corners can be removed and cleaned separately if required for enhanced hygiene and food safety. The 405 Stacks with the pre-existing 705 Container.
The Sæplast 405 is manufactured in durable polyethylene and polyurethane. Like all Sæplast containers it can be personalized with customer logos and specified with a variety of tracking options including barcodes, QR codes and RFID tags.
The insulation and strength factor - temperature control
Sæplast plastic containers are seamless rotomoulded double-walled containers. PUR refers to the polyurethane insulation injected into the walls of the tubs, ensuring a very high insulation factor. The primary benefit of PUR containers is temperature retention and control. For over 30 years Sæplast has developed a unique technique that ensures effective adhesion between the polyethylene walls and the polyurethane for long lasting structure.

RFID 
SÆPLAST offers a wide range of tubs, pallets and other products, which can be equipped with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags. The RFID ensures that each tub is marked, tracked and easily managed. RFID is a powerful wireless solution that stores information and keeps track of your products. RFID tags have varying storage and reading distance capacities. This is determined by the RFID frequency, form and size. RFID tags can be embedded or attached to SÆPLAST products and by using an RFID reader there is no need for physical contact or direct line of sight. One of the main RFID benefits is the read/write capability; information can both be read and changed easily
Barcode 
We are also able to equip SÆPLAST tubs, pallets and buggies with customer barcodes.The barcode contains machine-readable data and is frequently usedin warehousesfor stock assessment. The bar-code can e.g. connect a serial number to the engravednumber on the product for easy data registration.

Silk screen printing
SÆPLAST offers silk screen printing for each tub at no additional cost (minimum quantity applies). Silk screen printing is a unicolor deep print marking on the tub. We at SÆPLAST add the customer name or logo on each tub, making the container easily identifiable. Silk screen markings are available in single colour format and colours available are black, green, red or white.
Engraved markings
We at SÆPLAST also offer engraved markings onto SÆPLAST products at no extra cost (15 letter maximum) to ensure individual container identification. Engraved markings are long-lasting and more durable than silk screen printing. Many customers choose to have serial numbers, company name, factory location or other information engraved onto their SÆPLAST tubs.
Mould-in graphics
We at SÆPLAST also offer multi-colour mould-in-graphic markings for SÆPLAST containers. Mould-in graphics is a visual way to identify customer property by using their company logo. The technology can also be used for marketing purposes or to strengthen branding. Mould-in technology can also be used to present user guidelines or other messages that need to be presented for specific use of the product. This service is available upon request and at added cost
