Saeplast provides PUR Containers to assist the efforts of feeding the at-risk youth in the Saint John area.

Led by Tipsy Tomato Pub owner Steve Walton, the Joshua Group, a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization serving at risk children, has been able to give meals to over 800 under privileged children in the Greater Saint John, New Brunswick area.

As Covid-19 hit the area, the newly opened Tipsy Tomato Pub was forced to close its dining area. Instead of laying off the employees that were a major part of the quick success, Walton kept all who wanted to stay and decided to give back to the community in which he operated by supplying meals to the kids.

Saeplast’s Supply Chain Coordinator, Darcy Marr decided Saeplast could help too. Saeplast donated a grocery store gift card and two x DX310 large insulated containers to transport all the donated meals to the children. As well, the DX310 containers assist in transporting temperature sensitive food thatrequired a well-insulated container to keep the food safe and cool.

Well done Darcy
